Option 1: Train

Take the PisaMover Shuttle from the airport to Pisa Centrale station (5 minutes; departures every 5–8 minutes). Then, take the train to Prato Porta al Serraglio station (train towards Firenze S.M.N, some routes may require a change in Empoli station). From Prato Porta al Serraglio station, the PIN (Piazza dell’Università 1) is about 4-5 minutes walking (350 m).

Option 2: Airport Shuttle Bus

Several private shuttle companies (e.g., Caronna Tour, Terravision..) offer buses from Pisa Airport to Florence Central Station S.M.N. In Florence Central Station take a regional train to Prato Porta al Serraglio (20–25 minutes). From Prato Porta al Serraglio station, the PIN (Piazza dell’Università 1) is about 4-5 minutes walking (350 m).

Option 3: Taxi or Private Transfer

Direct taxi or private transfer from Pisa Airport to Prato takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic.

Option 4: Car Rental

From Pisa Airport, take the A11 motorway (Firenze–Mare) towards Firenze, and exit at Prato Est.

Then, follow the signs for Centro / Università / PIN.

Then, from Firenze S.M.N Central Station, take a regional train towards Prato and get off at Prato Porta al Serraglio (about 20–25 minutes). Starting from Porta al Serraglio station the PIN campus is about 5 minute walking (approx. 350 m).
